Job Summary:

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating shipments from origin to destination. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the logistics process and excellent communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and transportation vendors.


Responsibilities:

  • Track and trace shipments using CargoWise to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both domestically and internationally, as well as with transportation vendors such as airlines, warehouses, and trucking companies
  • Generate and audit vendor invoices for accuracy
  • Coordinate the delivery of exports and imports
  • Process export documentation efficiently and accurately
  • Approve freight invoices and credit notes in accordance with company policies
  • Handle charges and payments
  • Familiarize yourself with customer and vendor agreements to ensure compliance and adherence to contract terms


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in export operations, with a strong understanding of the A-Z export process
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and CargoWise1 software (preferred)
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn about logistics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Process-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills
