**Summary**:
**Facilities Office Planner | Facilities Planning** - Oversees the design and administration of small
- to medium-scaled remodeling/furniture reconfiguration projects by preparing and assisting in the development of design drawings, design change notices, bill of materials and other documents required for facility/plant modification, equipment and other projects.

- Formulates and recommends office space and furnishing standards and policies.
- Manages updates and oversight of space management system.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Facilities Office Planner | Facilities Planning**
- High School diploma/GED
- **PLUS** two (2) years college or technical school course work in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) or a technical discipline.
- **OR**, combination of college coursework and/or experience in office planning and/or facilities project management jobs **equaling three (3) years**.
- Experience using enterprise asset management software (e.g., Maximo) and Facility space management software (e.g., Tririga).

**Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications**
- Experience managing multiple small to medium size projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management processes, principles and methodologies.
- General functional/technical knowledge of the business units line of business, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and people management skills.
- Easily adapts to change and uncertainty.

**Major Accountabilities**:
1) Plans, monitors and manages all aspects of small
- to medium-scaled projects (e.g., small office moves of less than five people; requests requiring mínimal office reconfiguration) across one or more departments or business units including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure in accordance with internal process methodologies and standards.
Ensures completion according to project plan (e.g., scope, schedule, budget) and results meet quality/reliability standards.
2) Develops proposal and presents comprehensive project plan with cost and timing to project sponsors and management.
Reviews project to determine expense recognition (O&M vs Capital).
Obtains all necessary approvals.
3) Coordinates project planning by forecasting needs, taking furniture orders, placing orders, creating purchase orders, scheduling installations with external vendors, coordinating with appropriate internal resources and processing invoices.
Ensures materials and equipment are delivered on time.
Troubleshoots issues.
4) Oversees schedules and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
Directs vendor resources and monitors performance.
5) Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project teams, business management, project sponsors and senior management.
6) Maintains and updates all Design Configuration Documents in the Tririga system through the use of CADD.
(Original designs are created by an external design company.)
7) Manages the Facilities space management system (Tririga) by recommending and implementing improvements to the system and associated work processes in accordance with industry best practices.
