Overview:

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with the staff, serviced individuals, parents/guardians, and team members to ensure that appropriate services and supports are provided; coordinate day program activities consistent with personal support/habilitation plans.
- Ensure that day program placement and schedules align with each individual’s requirements.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management strategies and techniques to promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure that the day program complies with the standards of all applicable state and private certification and licensing agencies. Complete monthly inspections and implement corrective action as necessary.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your cared

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in childcare, caregiving, or patient care is preferred
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices is a plus

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in relevant fields are a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
