This is a great opportunity for an experienced Entitlements professional who is ready for the next step in their career. The Entitlements Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Director of Entitlements. Responsible for obtaining, monitoring and maintaining all benefits and entitlements (Social Security, SSI, Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps) for people in the residential programs.

**Qualifications**
- Expertise in government entitlements & benefits (SSI, Medicaid)
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience
- Strong people skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
- Valid NYS driver’s license

Job Responsibilities Include:

- Maintain all entitlements (Medicaid, Medicare and Part-D plans, Food Stamps, SSI & SSA) for people in residential programs.
- Resolve outstanding benefit issues with all state and local agencies including OPWDD, SSA, DSS; schedule visits as needed.
- Complete monthly deposit reviews, rent calculations, semi-annual Clothing Allowance requests.
- Coordinate with Admissions Dept. to complete new admissions or discharge process.
- Collaborate with Assist. Director of Entitlements, assist with supporting team members and volunteers
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
