- The Coordinator of Athletic Facilities & Event Management assists in the day-to-day operations of Towson University Athletic Facilities, to include the Towson Center, TU Arena, Unitas Stadium, Soccer complex, Baseball complex, Softball complex, Field Hockey complex, tennis courts, and all TU athletic practice fields. Under general direction, this role coordinates and communicates to coaches and appropriate staff information regarding use of all athletics facilities.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist with the management of all indoor and outdoor athletic facilities including the Towson University Athletic Facilities, to include the Towson Center, TU Arena, Unitas Stadium, Soccer complex, Baseball complex, Softball complex, Field Hockey complex, tennis courts, and all TU athletic practice fields. This includes daily upkeep in conjunction with other support areas in the department and on campus.
- Direct responsibility for the event management of specific sports as assigned. This includes supervision of student/contractual staff, event set-up/breakdown, crowd control, and other administrative duties that requires coordination, and communication, related to organizational operations meetings.
- Assist in the event management of other sports for which incumbent does not have direct oversight.
- Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of building managers.
- Serve as liaison for on-site visits with external vendors and contractors.
- Serve as liaison with scoreboard vendor. This includes maintenance and training for operating scoreboards.
- Assist with management of various facility projects spanning both indoor and outdoor venues.
- Assist with equipment purchases while ensuring appropriate procurement procedures are followed.
- Assist the Assistant Director for Athletics Facilities Management with scheduling of fields and facilities.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree and one year of related experience.
- Experience in a higher education, collegiate athletics environment.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Special hours of work required: nights and weekends.

**Salary and Benefits**

Salary starting at $46K, salary commensurate on experience, and full University benefits that include 22 days of annual leave, up to 15 holidays, personal and sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission.
