University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Towson Sports Medicine team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide top-notch athletic training services to middle and upper school student athletes participating in the athletics program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention programs for student athletes
- Serve as a liaison between parents, athletes, coaches, administrators, and supervising team physicians
- Oversee and safeguard injury records and protected health information
- Develop and implement injury tracking and reporting systems
- Manage supply purchasing and inventory, as well as budget development and monitoring
- Attend regular staff meetings and provide other contractual athletic training services as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Maryland
- Valid Evaluation & Treatment Protocol
- Current ACLS or BCLS certification
