Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Accounting team as a Senior Accounting Specialist. Execute on day-to-day AP & AR accounting support. While reporting into our Controller, execute on assigned accounting objectives leading to ever improving business health for CRI.

**Duties**:

- Own and drive the timely processing of vendor payments
- Provide AR backup support to parts of our business
- Reconcile discrepancies between invoices and payments
- Provide Bank Reconciliation support
- Investigate and resolve billing issues or disputes
- Ensure accurate month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required, Bachelors preferred
- 3+ years experience in an AR/AP Accounting role required (Quickbooks ideal)
- Recycling and/or waste management experience preferred
