Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
- Handle all AP/AR functions
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Compute and record numerical data
- Process AP entries, around 25 invoices a month
- Perform weekly check runs
- Assist with invoicing and invoice preparation
- Help with billing, especially e-invoicing under the supervision of the senior accountant
- Cut around 30 checks a month for AP and 30 for billing
- Generate invoices, ensure accurate time tracking, and manage the entire invoicing process
- Handle credit card files monthly
- Reach out to check timesheet and expense report submissions
- Conduct monthly data audits with a checklist
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
Desired Qualifications for the Bookkeeper
- 1+ years of general accounts payable and accounts receivable experience or bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
