Are you looking to be part of a dynamic team that supports the scientists and management working for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife? The Administrative Services Program is seeking a motivated individual to work as the Region 5 Human Resource (HR) Liaison in our San Diego Regional Office. Under the direction of the Administrative Officer III, the incumbent serves as the Regional HR Liaison and primary point of contact between South Coast Region (SCR) and various Department Branches on a wide variety of administrative issues. In addition the incumbent coordinates hiring functions, tracks regional budget expenditures and personnel operating expenses, makes personnel budgetary recommendations to management, serves as the region’s state owned housing coordinator and fleet acquisition plan coordinator, along with other administrative functions.
In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam:

Working Conditions
Office will be located in the San Diego Regional Office. Ability to use a computer keyboard for several hours a day. Involves sitting most of the time.
