**HOURS OF OPERATION**: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm

**Description of Position**

The Food Safety and Compliance Coordinator will ensure that all products the company produces adhere to safety and quality regulations. Responsibilities include conducting internal audits, monitoring production processes, and developing and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

**Duties of Position**
- Responsible for the product's quality, food safety, and esthetics.
- Set processes and ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) regulations and product quality standards.
- Inspects, promotes, and maintains adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of products, ingredients, and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety and Quality Standards as defined by the FDA, SQF, HACCP, Organic, and GMP Programs.
- Responsible for environmental monitoring (EM), which includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning items/entries for the food contact facility.
- Report any discrepancies of our programs to the appropriate manager (Quality Manager, Director of Brewing Operations and CEO). These programs include but are not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices, Allergen Program, Pest Control, HACCP and TTB program.
- Understand all safety procedures related to department tasks.
- Have a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while constantly evaluating work practices in the spirit of continuous improvement
- Willing to learn new tasks and retain procedures for future growth.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Ability to work in hot/cold environments and lift 50lbs
- All other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with regulatory compliance programs such as SQF, HACCP, GMP or FDA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and work through complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, which is the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time-management and organizational skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
This is a competitive hourly position based on experience.

PTO and paid sick leave, health and dental benefits, a health club reimbursement ($50/month), a CTA reimbursement ($50/month), 401k program, and a PPE stipend ($100/yr) all after a success 90 day onboarding.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
