Production Worker/machine Operator Nights 6pm to 6am

**Do you have experience in food processing or manufacturing? Ocean Spray** is _**Now Hiring a Production Worker **_at the Middleboro facility. This 600,000 square foot processing plant has 3 production lines and can produce up to 80 million pounds per year of Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins). This volume represents more than 30% of Ocean Spray’s North American Sweetened Dried Cranberry volume and is operated with a workforce of approximately 200 team members. The _**Production Worker**_ position is a 12-hour rotating shift from 6pm-6am with rotating weekends off with a starting pay rate of _**$26.66**_plus a shift differential.

**Position Overview**:

- Operation of all equipment associated with blending/batching and transferring fruit, flavors, essences, juices, premixes, and concentrates according to Current Best Methods in manual or automatic mode.
- Support of all blending/batching and associated tasks for premixes, co packing activity, or materials being shipped.
- Perform all quality and sensory tests involved in production of products.
- Maintain records of material receipts, usage, and returns.
- Load and/or unloads tank trucks of juices, concentrates, premixes, flavors, sweeteners, etc.
- Take samples of incoming/outgoing juices, concentrates, premixes, sweeteners, and fruit as necessary.
- Maintain records and takes inventories as necessary. Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
- Must be able to clean and sanitize all equipment associated with blending/batching, SDCs, transferring, tanker loading, tanker unloading, and perform other related duties as necessary. Maintains records as necessary.
- Will be forklift certified.

**What We’re Looking For?**
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude a plus
- Must be able to lift low to medium weight (10-30 pounds) on a regular basis and heavy weight (40-50 pounds) on an occasional basis
- Must be able to adhere to all plant safety and quality procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during 12-hour shift
- Ability to climb ladders and traverse catwalks
- Must possess good interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment
- Good personal hygiene is expected
- Ability to detect differences in color shades and brightness
- Ability to successfully pass aptitude testing

Pay: From $26.66 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
