Client Relationship Consultant

What You'll Do:
As a **Client Relationship Consultant**, you will partner closely with our Sales team and Broker partners to:
- Deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
- Provide expert renewal analysis
- Deliver outstanding service and selling of new lines of business
This opportunity plays an important role in delivering profitable revenue growth of an assigned block of in-force group business by developing and implementing customized strategies. This will be done through strategy discussions with the sales representatives and brokers.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
- Life and Health Insurance Licenses required for all states in which business will be conducted or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment required. Active life/health license preferred.
- Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
- Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
- Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Occasional travel required, including overnight stays for face-to-face interaction with customers and brokers.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $54000 - $90200 / year Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible: Yes Additional Information:
**Location**
This role offers the ability for a hybrid blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek, as well as a full time remote work week, depending on your location. You must live in Illinois for this position. If you live within 30 miles of Downers Grove office, you will be required to go into the office 2 days per week and able to work from home the remaining time, after training. If you live more than 30 miles from the Downers Grove office, you can work fully remote, with occasional visits to the office depending on business needs. Management reserves the right to adjust the days required in office.
