**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES**:

- Responsible for generating new opportunities for BMC and capturing several million dollars of grant support for BMC annually.
- Under the direction of the Director of Foundation Relations, assist and/or lead the preparation of foundation grant proposals, including writing letters of inquiry, concept papers, and proposals.
- Research and identify new potential foundation funders and solicit support for new and ongoing clinical initiatives, education programs and research.
- Develop budgets and budget justifications; prepare collateral materials; and ensure compliance with award requirements.
- Maintain a growing portfolio of current foundation donors and prospects, fostering these relationships through regular communication and stewardship.
