**Travel**: Area Managers are required to travel to all locations that are under their supervision on an as needed basis. Your supervision will cover our location in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, and Minnesota.

**Summary**: This role assists with overall operational matters concerning auto auction inspections and vehicle condition report writing in a designated area. The Area Manager will ensure that all inspections performed meet our quality, production, organizational development, safety, operational excellence, cost and productivity objectives. You will be charged with overseeing the recruiting, training, and performance levels of inspectors within your designated area. The role will also coordinate workflow amongst multiple auction locations, and interact/build positive working relationships with clients’ management personnel at those facilities. You will report directly to the Regional Director.

We invite you to join our team as an Area Manager if you:

- Are capable of managing multiple complex priorities simultaneously with a “hands on” style
- Are able to exemplify true change leadership in developing your team
- Have proven ability to deliver annual operating goals/metrics
- Can successfully build and develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers
- Possess five or more years in a managerial role, providing strategy, vision and direction
- Have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry related experience

Other Requisites:

- Valid state issued driver’s license and safe driving record required
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel
- Ability to hold at least 10 lbs for an extended period
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Vision abilities required including close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Light to frequent travel (about 20-40%)
- Regular and consistent availability and attendance
