**About this Role**:
The role of the Recovery Analyst at the Third Party Liability and Recovery Division’s Special Collections Branch, Medical Malpractice Unit (MM), is to recover funds when a Medi-Cal (California’s Medicaid Program) beneficiary is involved in a third party action, such as medical or dental malpractice, birth injuries, elder abuse, or wrongful death, and the Medi-Cal beneficiary receives a settlement, judgment, or award from a liable third party. Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Recovery Analyst is responsible for maintaining an on-going caseload and recovering funds owed to Medi-Cal.

Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Knowledge of the Medi-Cal Program, insurance claims, and/or medical billing or records.
