Planned Parenthood Arizona (PPAZ) is Arizona’s largest reproductive health care provider, serving over 34,000 patients every year. PPAZ also works to educate communities, lead research directly impacting Arizonans; and advocate for access to health care, resources, and democracy regardless of your race, gender, class, orientation, identity, or status.

Given that Arizona could ban abortion with a court decision on any day, working with impacted communities and activated supporters is a keystone of PPAZ’s organizing philosophy: lived experience and the stories that go along with those experiences are invaluable currency when working to educate decision-makers on the impacts of public policy or court decisions like_ Dobbs _that overturned _Roe._

**GENERAL PRIORITIES**
- Models the highest standard of customer service and care; leads by example and manages from the floor, alongside the team.
- Works with staff to ensure appropriate access to services by current and potential patients, and seeks always to maximize our mission;
- Monitors and reviews patient care; looks for opportunities to improve patient care and patient satisfaction in order to improve the overall patient experience.
- Manages systems and patient flow, productivity and inventory management;
- Assures compliance with agencies, state and federal regulations, by monitoring protocol compliance and service delivery;
- Supervisor duties include: Hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and developing staff. Schedules, assigns and directs work and retains staff;
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and presents solutions to the VP-Patient services; monitors budgets, generates month end reports, maintains financial information and analyzes the financial reports with VP-Patient services; Verifies patient insurance benefits, knowledgeable in understanding/interpreting insurance benefit review, prepping charges for outsourced billing, insurance filing and processing and responds to patient questions and insurance company requests pertaining to billing inquiries.
- Addresses patient and employee concerns, finding solutions and resolutions to issues or complaints;
- Responsible for the oversight of the health center’s risk, quality and compliance, seeking always to provide customer centered quality care in a safe environment for both patients and staff

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
- 3+ years of Healthcare Supervisory Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A proven leader who can lead, build a team, develop and guide employees
- A passion to lead and serve patients and employees
- An advocate for family planning, protection and promotion of reproductive rights and healthy families
