Urban Air -Macon, GA

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Cultivates a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing the team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level
- Leads and influences staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to maximize productivity and creating a team environment
- Assist in selection, development of staff for more responsibility or internal promotability into leadership programs
- Assist the management team with inventory and controlling expenses and with opening and closing duties
- Maintains a safe, clean and secure environment for all guests and instills these values in staff
- Works with team members to ensure guest satisfaction and excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in hospitality, family entertainment or restaurant industry preferred (Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Bowling Alleys, Water parks, Restaurants, Movie Theaters, Bars, Hotels, any position requiring the oversight of large numbers of children)
- 1+ years’ supervisory or leadership experience required
- Brand Ambassador and Culture Champion
- Demonstrated ability in developing team members in areas of responsibility
- Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, be able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
- Ability to use a computer a must, experience with handling cash a must, food handlers and TABC preferred
- Professional grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed to set example for staff
- Ability to interact with guests in a professional manner
- Adaptability, flexibility, general enthusiasm for the business
- Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Willing to learn and adapt to changes or challenges
- Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management and vendors
- Exercises good judgment in decision making
- Appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.)
- We work when others play Must be able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
