Veterinary Receptionist

We would like to add an enthusiastic part-time Receptionist to our team. We are a fast-paced 4 doctor Veterinary clinic with a team oriented approach. Experience working in a Veterinary atmosphere preferred but not required. Vacation time and employee discount after probationary period. 27 hours per week to start though this could grow into a full-time position. This position is currently a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule, with the option to work a short shift on Saturdays occasionally. More benefits available if this does becomes full-time. **Job duties include but are not limited to**:
- Maintain the visual appeal of the reception area
- Greet and welcome clients and pets
- Answer questions and triage client concerns
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- Check in and check out clients, process payments
- Manage pet records
- Fill prescriptions
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and pets
- Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
- May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
**We're looking for**:
- Experienced Receptionist able to manage and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Compassionate and calm team player, multi-tasker and strong communicator
- Highly organized person with computer skills
- Self-starter
- Team player with pristine attendance record.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
