**Overview**:Reporting to the Sr. HR Director, Ops & Transportation, the HR Associate will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.
- Answer basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.
- Schedule interviews, leads new hire orientations and/or training sessions.
- Processes employee status changes, benefit enrollments, maintain records of completed transactions.
- In-puts HR-related data such as new hire information, disciplinary notes, and standard reports.
- Provides guidance to supervisors and managers on employee relation matters and investigations.

**Requirements**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
- Performs complex tasks typically following established processes
- Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
- Have a strong understanding and comprehension of business functions, corporate structure, and job duties
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to work on a hybrid schedule, which entails four days in the office and one day working remotely
- Project management including but limited to usage knowledge of project management software’s such as Microsoft Lists & Microsoft Planner.

**Education and Experience**:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years’ experience in HR administrative role.
