**What to Expect**:
You will serve as the first support position within the Talent & Organizational Development (TOD) function. At United Ground Express (UGE) TOD is a newly formed function standing up key people strategies across the organization. TOD is accountable for building, implementing, and maintaining learning and development specifically in the leadership development space, performance management, and talent succession process across the organization.

In this new role you will bring a critical support and coordination capability to the function at a time of rapid growth and expansion. Key areas of focus will include:

- Employee learning and development
- Employee performance management
- Talent planning and succession process support

**How you will make an impact**
- Coordinate with HR leadership, field HR partners, Communications, and Operations partners to support the roll out, execution and tracking of blended Leadership development programs and initiatives, including evaluation and measurement
- Assist in the mapping of Competencies and Learning Paths for our various Management & Administrative (M&A) roles
- Support the creation and implementation of a new learning and development feedback and evaluation processes including communication and analysis
- Support and execute the rollout and maintenance of organization-wide succession planning plans, readiness, and records across the M&A Group
- Lead virtual, in-person, one-on-one, or group information sessions regarding Leadership Development, Performance, or Talent Management programs and initiatives
- Assist and support Talent & Organizational Development's engagement and partnership with DEI and Employee Resource Groups
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to create additional Leadership Development initiatives and programs

**Experience/Competencies**

***
- 2-4 years of work experience that includes leadership/management development and talent review, management, and succession planning
- Crisp and creative written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively connect across all levels of the organization
- Proven tolerance for ambiguity and change and the ability to forge forward with solutions at pace with need
- Committed to research and advance evidence-based practice in the areas of leadership and talent development

**Knowledge/Skills**:

- Experienced using Microsoft Teams including coordinating and setting up virtual group training and orientation sessions
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills, with a bias toward action
- Unwavering commitment to act with integrity and engage in ethical conduct, without exception, in order to foster and maintain trusted relationships across the organization
- Some travel (depending on business need)

**Education**:

Associate degree

Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred or related field

**Compensation**:
***

Base Salary range: $60,000- $65,000 (L6) annually

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
