Bilingual Security Officer

Job Summary:
Hyattsville based Security Company is seeking a bilingual Security Office who is fluent in Spanish. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Duties may include but not limited to:

- Patrol premises to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Provide crowd control
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in Spanish
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- High School diploma is required

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

We will assist with sponsoring the physical, drug screen and licensing process for a Security Officer license in the District of Columbia.

We will NOT sponsor for work VISAs. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Experience level:

- 5 years

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 5 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Washington, DC (required)
