Genesis Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler to join our team in the Spring/Woodlands/Kingwood area. As a Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of appointments for diagnostic imaging procedures. **Responsibilities**:

- Schedule appointments for diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, X-ray, mammogram, and ultrasound.
- Coordinate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate scheduling and efficient utilization of imaging resources.
- Verify insurance information and obtain pre-authorization as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the imaging department staff to optimize patient flow and ensure timely completion of appointments.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in scheduling or administrative roles, is desirable.
- Familiarity with diagnostic imaging procedures and terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and staff members.
- Proficiency in computer systems and medical scheduling software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
