**Tasks/Responsibilities**:
As a Gift Curator / Gift Basket Maker at our gourmet market, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable and personalized experiences for our customers. You will curate exquisite gift selections and assemble beautiful gift baskets filled with high-quality Italian gourmet products, ensuring each gift reflects our market's commitment to quality and authenticity.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Curate Gift Selections: Source and select a wide range of gourmet Italian products including cheeses, cured meats, wines, olive oils, pasta, sauces, sweets, and other delicacies to create unique gift selections.

2. Create Custom Gift Baskets: Design and assemble custom gift baskets tailored to customers' preferences and occasions, such as holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, and special celebrations.

3. Personalization: Offer personalized touches such as handwritten notes, customized labels, and themed decorations to enhance the recipient's experience and add a personal touch to each gift.

4. Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends in Italian gourmet products and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the market's product offerings to provide expert recommendations to customers.

5. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, offering assistance, answering inquiries, and providing recommendations to help them find the perfect gift.

6. Manage Inventory and Stock: Monitor inventory levels of gift items, replenish stock as needed, and ensure the availability of key products to meet customer demand.

7. Ensure Presentation and Quality: Pay close attention to the presentation of gift selections and baskets, ensuring they are beautifully arranged and packaged to reflect the premium quality of the products.

8. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members, including sales associates and management, to coordinate gift orders, fulfill customer requests, and maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow.

9. Conceptualize New Gift Ideas: Continuously brainstorm and develop innovative concepts for gift offerings, staying ahead of market trends and customer preferences. Explore unique themes, seasonal variations, and special collaborations to expand the market's range of gift options.

10. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the gift market. Stay informed about emerging trends, customer

demographics, and purchasing behaviors to inform the development of new gift concepts that resonate with our target audience.

11. Launch and Promote New Concepts: Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute the launch of new gift concepts, developing promotional campaigns and marketing materials to generate excitement and drive sales. Monitor the performance of new concepts and gather feedback to inform future iterations and improvements.

12. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align new gift concepts with overall business objectives and strategies. Share insights and collaborate on cross-promotional opportunities to maximize the success of new gift offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a gourmet food market, specialty store, florist or gift shop.
- Strong passion for gourmet products, with a keen eye for quality and authenticity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
- Creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to design visually appealing gift baskets.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
