Baskets Associate

Role Overview: Citarella’s basket associates are the people behind the creation of Citarella’s exceptional gift baskets, using retail merchandise, breads, pastries, etc. created by Citarella or provided by our warehouse. 

Responsibilities: 

Assemble all gift baskets and follow directions on what items are required. Inspect all dates, labels, quality of items before using them for basket production. Take inventory of all basket production items to ensure the ability to fulfill all orders. Keep all basket items organized within the department for easy basket assembly. Submit requests for perishable and nonperishable items for baskets. Follow all Citarella safety guidelines/requirements including cleaning work area. Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and following dress code standards. In addition, other duties/projects/assignments as directed by management.

Minimum requirements:

Attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective interpersonal & communication skills, and able to work in a team environment. Follow sanitary and safety guidelines. Ability to physically perform requirements of position such as: standing, sitting, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling items weighing 20-75 pounds for extended periods of time. Ability to work scheduled shifts for department. Ability to read, write and communicate using English language enough to perform job functions, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
