Citarella Gift Basket Associate Job Description

Role Overview:

Citarella's Gift Basket Associates are responsible for crafting exceptional gift baskets using a variety of retail merchandise, breads, pastries, and other items. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble gift baskets according to specifications and ensure all items meet quality standards.
  • Inspect dates, labels, and quality of items before using them for basket production.
  • Take inventory of basket production items to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient basket assembly.
  • Submit requests for perishable and nonperishable items as needed.
  • Adhere to Citarella's safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Report to work on schedule, neatly groomed and adhering to dress code standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow sanitary and safety guidelines.
  • Physical ability to perform job requirements, including standing, sitting, reaching, lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling items weighing 20-75 pounds.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts and read, write, and communicate in English.
