**About the role**

The Material Management Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our Ambulatory Surgery Center by performing a variety of material management functions. This includes maintaining inventory availability, documenting and tracking product usage, inspecting and validating received items, and delivering supplies according to specified routes and customer needs.

**What You Will Do**
- Uphold Commons Policies and Procedures, Code of Ethics, and adhere to applicable state, federal and local laws
- Inventory supply areas and prepare replenishment documentation based on consumption and demand needs
- Adjust inventory levels based on data, customer input, and knowledge of inventory supply hand lead time
- Perform inventory analysis as needed
- Deliver supplies as needed and in STAT customer needs within specified time frames
- Respond to center needs and requests for stock and non-stock supplies
- Maintain organized, clean, and labeled supply areas
- Complete necessary documentation to adjust or reorganize inventory
- Receive deliveries, assist in unloading trucks, inspect deliveries for damage, quality and accuracy
- Maintain delivery records and response to customer inquiries regarding logistics services support
- Assist with return orders or repair processes

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of inventory analysis and control
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with operating material handling equipment
- Cross-trained in various material management systems
- Detail oriented with focus on accuracy
- Ability to lift and move supplies, up to 50 pounds
- Prior experience in a healthcare or surgical center setting is advantageous
- Additional education in materials management is a plus

**Work Schedule**
- This is a Monday through Friday role with expected hours to be 7:30am to 4:00pm

**Estimate compensation range**
- Hourly Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
