Guest Arrival Lead
The pay rate for this position is $22.00/hour.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests as they enter the park
- Communicate with guests and answer questions regarding park policies
- Scan admission tickets to ensure valid access to guests as they enter the park
- Operate computerized point of sale system
- Measure height of all persons entering the park as they purchase tickets
- Must be able to handle credit transactions
- Answer and solve guest questions and concerns
- Monitors all guests exiting and re-entering the park
- Issues any additional materials to each pass holder
- Enforce height and age restrictions on season passes
- Supervise the efficiency of season pass processing, ticket selling, and ticket taking.
- Direct, coach, and mentor team members
- Document and calculate hourly attendance of guests visiting the park
- Manage break schedules (30 minute lunch, 10 minute breaks)
- Maintain refunds, comps, and void logs
- Ability to lead team members
- Maintain cleanliness of the Admissions department
- Other duties as assigned to support the park
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of team members and desire to assist questions, problems, issues and concerns
- Strong communications, problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Must possess good interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule availability, including holidays and weekends
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting, standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat. Must also be able to carry, push, pull, lift, hold objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulders.
