**Stage Director - Fall Play and Spring Musical (2 Positions)**
- Direct the play or musical in preparations for four public performances, including auditioning students to select cast and assign parts; and leading rehearsals to ensure students master parts.
- Work with Thespians advisor/producer to create a positive rehearsal environment and foster a spirit of collaboration, respect, and communication flow with students and families.
- Collaboratively work to support other production assistants by assigning non-performing students to backstage production tasks, such as constructing, painting, moving scenery, managing properties and costuming; operating stage lighting and sound equipment.
- Secure and reserve rehearsal and performance facilities with building administration.
- Oversee proper organization and storage of stock theatrical units and school-owned equipment and material on the high school stage, in the auditorium, etc.
- Some Saturday work will be needed to complete each set and run of show(s).
**Thespian Set Construction Director - Fall Play (1 Position)**
- Collaborate with the stage director to plan the construction of set pieces, procure materials, teach, supervise, and work with students to construct the set, and plan lights and sound.
- Work with the Thespians advisor/producer to create a positive rehearsal environment and foster a spirit of collaboration, respect, and communication flow with students and families.
- Work with the production team to assist in the design and artistic work for the show, including props and other artistic needs.
- Some Saturday work will be needed to complete each set and run the show.
