Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in the area of State College, PA: Soliant is seeking a contract SLP on behalf of a local school district.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Communications Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • Pennsylvania SLP license
  • Education Specialist - Speech certificate, issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Prior schools or peds experience strongly preferred

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:

  • Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
  • Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
  • Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
  • Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
  • Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
  • In some cases, SLPs may be called upon to supervise Clinical Fellows, student interns (at both the graduate and undergraduate level), and SLPAs
