- Order parts and reconcile packaging slips with invoices in preparation for payment.

- Maintain inventory of basic parts.
- Responsible for upkeep of basic painting and building maintenance.
- Inspect and diagnose problems and determine the best way to correct them, frequently checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs.
- Use common hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wrenches and hammers as well as specialized equipment and electronic testing devices.
- Replace or repair worn or broken parts where necessary or make adjustments to correct malfunctioning equipment and machines.
- General maintenance, perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Follow checklists, including inspection of drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance functions.
- Communicate and maintain safety and security standards.
- Participate in facility safety committee meetings.
- Consistently communicate, uphold and embody Whole Foods Market's standards, vision and Philosophy.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive vendor relationships. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with relevant regularity rules & standards including: Whole Foods Market Quality and Organic Standards, OSHA, QAI, Health and Sanitation (including HAACP), FDA, Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures.

**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret repair manuals, parts catalogues, blueprints, technical procedures, safety rules, operation/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Comprehensive knowledge of equipment utilized by the warehouse
- Stay current with changes in maintenance procedures
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to prioritize and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, on-line ordering and troubleshooting through vendor websites
- Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to fellow team members and customers
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Comply with all WFM quality standards
- Proper use of knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, six wheel carts, baler and all other equipment used during preparation and clean up within department and store.
- Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision. Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Distribution Center, including nights, weekends and holidays as required

**Desired Work Experiences**
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and mechanic fields
