**WOW Logistics **Loves Park, IL** Distribution Center is now hiring for a** 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Specialist**

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be required to audit and inspect outbound orders ensuring accuracy and compliance to defined standards. This position will be responsible for identifying, logging, and resolving all errors found. When an error is found you will be expected to identify the root cause and coach the team member responsible to proactively prevent similar errors in the future.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Use RF scanner to verify accuracy of outbound orders.
- Complete weekly process audits on all warehouse processes.
- Assist department lead in coaching of various warehouse processes.
- Ensure pallet paperwork including special labels for specific customer (YHata and Sysco)
- is accurate.
- Create and maintain Customer Matrix to include special instructions/requirements.
- Manage QA log and coach team members when errors occur.
- Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Requirements (GMP Audits and FSMA adherence)
- Train others on the basic QA process to include maintaining QA error log and uploading to SharePoint.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of current warehouse processes with the ability to adapt to new processes
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Open to last minute schedule changes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly
- Ability to think strategically and take ownership
- Must have the ability to work alone and with others under busy conditions

**Hours**

2nd Shift 1:30pm to 10:00pm Monday - Friday (overtime may be required)
