**Overview**: Mythical seeks an experienced, resourceful, and creative-minded Assistant Editor / Media Manager to provide support to our Post Production Manager, Editors, and Assistant Editor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the post workflow for each edit from media ingest, project prep, edit, graphics, post sound mix, export, QC to upload
- Manage media ingestion and organization on servers
- Work with the Post Production Manager to ensure media is properly backed up on servers and LTO tapes
- Work with producers and writers to pull videos/stills required for playback within episodes
- Track music usage and licensing in order to create music cue sheets
- Work with production teams and Editors to update post-workflow documents and schedules
- Export, QC, assist with captioning/dubbing, and deliver final files to the Content Management Team for upload
- Supervise post-production equipment and troubleshoot any technical problems encountered, working with the IT team as necessary
- Source and create opportunities for efficiency in all areas of the post-production process
- Work closely with the Post Production Manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of media
- Prep projects for Editors ensuring preps are done to the specifications of each show
- Ensure Mythical content is being archived properly and prepared for FAST distribution
- Assist with captioning & dubbing as needed

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years experience working in relevant post-production positions
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects and Media Encoder)
- In-depth understanding of the pre-production, production, and post-production processes
- Experience in diverse formats: commercials, animation, scripted, variety, reality, documentary, photoshoots, digital, social media, music performance, and/or music video
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Preferred**:

- Experience working with 4K footage in a proxy-based workflow
