**Duties**:

- Leading the day-to-day work of subordinates assigned to the team.
- Lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
- Perform related advisory duties regarding the quality and safety programs.
- Provide recommendations and/or alternatives to aid headquarters in making a final decision.
- Investigate delays and major problem areas to determine causes of same and corrective action required.
- Monitor contractors compliance with operations and safety programs and the inspection of worksites.

- Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Position requires a valid driver's license.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.

- **Specialized Experience**:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1. experience monitoring contractor's compliance with operations and safety programs; 2. experience providing guidance in the daily evaluation and surveillance of the contractors quality assurance and safety programs; 3. experience conducting in-process audits and inspections to identify areas of deficiency and recommending methods of improvement to production and quality management programs and processes; and 4. experience with quality assurance functions related to the production, inspection, and procurement processes.
