**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Move-In Move-Out Coordinator to join our team in Jersey City for a Full Time 6-month role, with an opportunity to extend. This role will ensure a seamless and positive experience for all incoming and outgoing residents in Journal Squared whose third tower will open in July of this year. The Coordinator should have a love of genuine hospitality and customer service. Here, we are committed to a resident-first mentality.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure residents have completed their move-in checklist by submitting all necessary documentation and reserving their elevator for move-in day.
- Work with maintenance to confirm that apartments are move-in ready.
- Set Welcome Gift Pack in apartments ahead of move-in day.
- Assist residents with walk-throughs upon move-in.
- Address any maintenance issues or concerns.
- Be on site for as many move-ins as possible, greeting the residents and assisting them with key retrieval and any and all assistance needed.
- Ensure that new residents have a positive experience, and act as an advocate for them and the building.
- Follow up with residents upon move-in and move-out, and help coordinate the resolution of any issues such as security deposit, move-out elevator, etc.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in hospitality, guest services, property management, or related areas.
- Well-organized with strong verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- A self-starting attitude and an open outlook.
- Preferred competency in Microsoft Office and Yardi, but we will train as needed.
- Based in Jersey City, Hoboken, or Bayonne (local strongly preferred) or the greater NYC area.
- Available for a Full-Time role, 5 days a week, in person on site at Journal Squared (a weekend day or full weekend may be required but would still be 5 days a week. Schedule to be determined.)

US Work Authorization is required.

**SALARY**

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
