Job DescriptionJob Description

1.Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Sales in development and execution of the marketing plan.
2.Responsible for meeting the sales goals of the community.
3.Actively participate in the daily sales building efforts: conducting discovery and tours, special events, inquiry follow-up and telemarketing with potential leads and prospects. This includes weekend hours and evenings.
4.Work with Executive Director/Business Office Manager to coordinate move-ins and move-in dates.
5.Maintain a working knowledge of all computer systems and software.
6.Maintain confidentiality of business policies and procedures, residents and prospective residents’ information.
7.Maintain good, active relationships with all residents and their families.
8.Achieve and/or exceed referral expectations through development and implementation of an effective referral marketing plan.
9.Maintain list of show rooms and vacant apartments.
10.Maintain and communicate current product information to staff (pricing, program changes, policy changes and promotional programs).
11.Update competitive information bi-annually or when changes occur and communicate to management team.
12.Possess an understanding of the aging process and needs of older adults.
13.Attend all required training, in-service and staff meetings.
14.Encourage teamwork through cooperative interaction with co-workers and other departments. Support a positive and professional image through action and dress.
15.Communicate effectively and interact positively with the Executive Director and other department heads.
16.Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
1.Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.
2.Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or equivalent.
3.One (1) year experience in working with elderly desired.
4.Organization and communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills.
5.Experience with computers to include e-mail programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
6.Prefer related experience in seniors housing.
7.Previous sales and marketing experience.
8.Must have current drivers license with good MVR and reliable transportation.
