In this new role of Practice Manager for SmartEQ, you’ll have the unique and exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the strategy and direction of our growing company in collaboration with the owner.
You will manage the day-to-day functions of the veterinary practice to ensure the efficient and effective provision of outstanding care to our patients and clients, including but not limited to:
- Overseeing and supporting veterinarians, assistants and office staff in their roles;
- Inventory and pharmacy management;
- Accurate records management; and
- Ensuring regulatory compliance.
Your experience in Human Resources will allow you to proactively design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity, and identify and address areas for improvement.
You’ll be our go-to person for on-boarding, staff training, and scheduling, with a view to building employee satisfaction as well as client satisfaction and retention and, as a result, positive business outcomes.
The successful applicant will have outstanding organizational and communication skills, and be able to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Prior experience as a Veterinary or Medical Practice Manager or Human Resources Manager in veterinary or medical practice is required. Experience with HVMS Veterinary Practice Management Software would be a plus.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field is required.
