Shipping Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate Overhead Crane.
- Place parts as needed for shipment on proper skids.
- Prepare shipment load lists.
- Communicate and coordinate loading requirements for individual loads with group leader and hourly personnel.
- Complete shipping task in a timely manner.
- Assist in physical inventory, as required.
- Function as Cycle Count Control Counter, as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer experience a plus.
- Well organized with a good knowledge of general clerical practices.
- Previous experience and formal education in shipping practices and inventory control preferred.
- Ability to work in a harmonious manner and interact in a cooperative way with supervisors and co-workers.
- Forklift experience helpful.

**Education**:

- High school diploma.
- Some college desired.
