**Job Overview**:
A Banquet Server plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of events, banquets, and large gatherings. This position involves providing excellent customer service, efficiently serving food and beverages, and maintaining a professional and organized environment during events.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Setup and Preparation**:

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events.
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are in place
- **Food and Beverage Service**:

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Follow established serving etiquette and standards.
- Monitor and replenish buffet stations or passed appetizers as needed.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide a high level of customer service, addressing guest needs and requests.
- Anticipate and respond to guest concerns with professionalism.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the event.
- **Communication**:

- Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to coordinate food service.
- Communicate effectively with fellow servers to ensure seamless service.
- Report any issues or feedback from guests to the event supervisor.
- **Cleanliness and Organization**:

- Keep the banquet area clean and organized during the event.
- Clear empty plates, glasses, and utensils from tables promptly.
- Assist in post-event cleanup, ensuring the venue is left in excellent condition.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays, and perform bending or reaching tasks.
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Banquet servers often work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules. The role may involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy trays or equipment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
