Banquet Server Functions:
- Prepare banquet room according to event (BEO) specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
- Set up food and beverage stations as per the event requirements.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
- Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their designated tables.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following established serving guidelines.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly and efficiently to requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the event.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, managers, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Assist with the breakdown and clean-up of the banquet room after the event, including clearing tables, removing linens, and resetting the room for future use.
- Properly store equipment and leftover food and beverages according to established procedures.
- Ensure all areas are clean and orderly before leaving the event space.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform strenuous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate setup according to specifications and to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout events.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the event schedule.
- Previous experience in banquet service preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates.
•Must be at least 18 years old
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Possess basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.
•Possess good communication and guest relation skills.
•Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays
•Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
•Regular and predictable attendance.
•Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times
•Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
•Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
•Must be able to multi-task several different actions at once.
•Must be able to follow directions, read, and write
•Experience with a full-service country club operation preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
