As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist of the Microbiology Lab, your job duties include performing clinical laboratory tests, preparing reagents, performing quality control and calibration for test systems, maintaining and repairing laboratory equipment, processing specimens, and performing data entry.

Salary Range: $51.76 - $68.97/hour

**Qualifications**
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Microbiology Scientist (CMS) license.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Molecular Microbiology experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of theory and fundamentals with emphasis on moderate and highly complex methods utilized in the assigned section.
- Knowledge of highly complex analytical procedures used in a hospital laboratory (CLIA test categorization).
- Knowledge of quality control methods, theories, calculations, and limitations.
- Ability to recognize when an instrument, procedure, or piece of equipment is not functioning properly and initiate corrective action.
