Air Compliance Coordinator - Salary Range $80,000 - $120,000 Annually

**PURPOSE**: As a DCOR Air Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating air compliance efforts to meet the federal, state, and local regulation of all assets DCOR owns/operates.

**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides engineering and air regulatory compliance support for facility equipment upgrade / replacement projects including crane engines, emergency generators, flare systems, heater treater burners, and gas metering systems.
- Contacts vendors, obtains equipment purchase and installation quotes, prepares Authority for Expenditure (AFE) documents, schedules and coordinates installation activities at DCOR facilities.
- Schedules and coordinates DCOR’s emission source testing program with facility personnel, emission source testing contractors, and local air district personnel. Coordinates emission screening and engineering prior to emission source testing on an as needed basis. Reviews emission source test reports prior to local air district submittal.
- Manages DCOR’s engine / burner semi-annual and quarterly emission monitoring program to assure local air district monitoring and reporting requirements are met.
- Coordinates DCOR’s quarterly fugitive emission monitoring program per local air district requirements. Schedules fugitive emission contractor inspection and repair activities in conjunction with facility personnel. Reviews fugitive emission reports prior to local air district submittal.
- Conducts DCOR facility Planned General Inspections (PGI’s) and makes operation improvement recommendations.
- Schedules and participates in local air district facility inspections. Reports findings to DCOR Management.
- Prepares 14-day local air district portable equipment notifications and follow-up reporting.
- Performs emergency response activities such as spill reporting and agency notifications. Participates on DCOR’s Oil Spill Response Team in the Planning Section Environmental Unit.
- Prepares Title V Permit Annual and Semi-Annual Reports as required by local air district permits.
- Provides back-up for Spill Response, and Water and Waste Coordinators on an as needed basis.
- Prepare and submit air compliance reports to all local, state and federal agencies;
- Coordinate stack testing with consultants in preparation for periodic air compliance performance tests;
- Perform air emission calculations and understand the impact of air district rules and regulations on Company operations;
- Communicate all air-related environmental requirements to the Company’s Operations Group and Senior Management;
- Assist with the selection of air pollution control technology for new or modified equipment;
- Coordinate Fugitive Emissions Inspection Program;
- Manages Title V Permit Deviation and Certification Process;
- Perform emergency responses on behalf of the Company such as release reporting and obtain flaring variances as and when needed;
- Assist with the performance of or response to internal or external environmental inspections and audits;
- Network with industry members and government agencies on air-related environmental issues to remain current on regulatory changes;
- Participate in the Company’s on-call emergency program and oil spill Incident Management Team; and
- Perform other related tasks as periodically requested by the Environmental, Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manager.

**PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Must be qualified under applicable regulations and required fit testing
- Required to wear personal protective equipment which may include self-contained breathing apparatus
- Climb ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Ability to work varying hours
- Obtain and maintain Swing Rope Certification

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of relevant working knowledge of Air Compliance experience
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel software programs.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills
