- Manage multiple grant award budgets and expenditures, tracking funds and ensuring they are utilized and reported appropriately.
- Monitor grant timelines and reporting requirements, ensuring timely submissions of performance reports and other documentation.

**Financial Management**:

- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks) and Excel spreadsheets.
- Prepare financial reports for management review, analyzing variances to inform decision-making.
- Assist with budget monitoring, providing insights to support financial planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and organizational policies.
- Work closely with the Board Treasurer and CPA to ensure accurate financial record keeping and reporting.

**Documentation and Compliance**:

- Organize and maintain documentation related to grants, financial transactions, and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on grant regulations, accounting principles, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Assist with audits and reviews, providing documentation and support as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in grant management and bookkeeping, preferably in a nonprofit or similar organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Understanding of nonprofit financial management practices and compliance requirements is desirable.
- Certification in grants management or bookkeeping/accounting (e.g., CGMS, CPB) is a plus.

**Salary and Benefits**:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.04 - $31.73 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
