**Grant Coordinator**

The Grant Coordinator position holds a vital role within Westside Health Authority's fundraising team, focusing on the creation and development of grant proposals. This role is instrumental in securing funding for various projects and initiatives through tasks such as identifying appropriate funding sources, expertly crafting proposals, and ensuring adherence to grant guidelines and requirements.

Job Summary:
The Grant Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and managing the grant-seeking and grant administration processes within the organization. This role involves researching grant opportunities, developing grant proposals, coordinating grant activities, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.
- Collaborate with program and finance staff to prepare grant proposals, including drafting narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
- Maintain a database of grant prospects, including deadlines, eligibility criteria, and contact information.
- Develop detailed budgets for grant proposals, including income and expenditure projections.
- Stay informed about grant regulations and requirements, ensuring that all grant activities are in compliance.
- Collaborate with program managers and other staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Coordinate with program staff to track progress and outcomes related to funded projects.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with grantors and funding organizations.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and meetings to stay updated on grant opportunities and industry trends.
- Ensure that proposals align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions to align grant-seeking efforts with the organization's long-term goals.
- Monitor grant budgets and track expenses to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- **Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Proven experience in grant writing and grant management
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in grant management software and tools.
- Knowledge of fundraising and development principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Passion for the organization's mission and values.
- **Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business Administration)
- Experience in grant writing and proposal development (requested but not required).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
