Roofer - Multifamily Repairs

Houston, United States CAMP Facility Services Full time

**Hours**: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (some days may require more than 8 hours, some weeks may require additional workdays). May be required to attend industry/company functions outside of normal business hours.

**Position Summary**

The roofer installs shingles, asphalt, metal or other materials to make the roof watertight.

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**

The Roofer must be able to diagnose the problem. Must be able to determine origin of the roof leak and repair affected area with fellow team members. They must communicate effectively with other Camp employees and customers, including on-site, property-level personnel. Basic arithmetic knowledge is needed. Must have knowledge of different types of roofs: TPO, flat, shingle, etc.

**Responsibilities**

The Roofer should have sufficient education, experience and communication skills to effectively discharge assigned duties. Directly responsible for the following duties:

- Coordinate assigned schedule for each day (visits multiple jobsites/properties).
- Determine material requirements needed to complete each repair.
- Inspect worksites.
- Ensure that jobs are completed on schedule.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with the Department Managers concerning all aspects of the project.
