Looking for a YouTube Videographer
Hi, I’m a YouTuber looking for a videographer for my IRL short and longform content in Southern California. I’m looking for someone who is able to:
- Capture high-quality footage in an unscripted and fast paced filming environment
- Be comfortable filming with multiple camera angles (typically 2-5 per scene, all but one is stationary/on a tripod) and cognizant of camera placement so the cameras do not film each other
- Ensure optimal lighting, framing, sound, and composition based on the setting and environment
- Utilize multiple and creative camera angles and cinematography to capture engaging footage
- Operate the primary camera and gimbal (I have a DJI RS3 and Sony a7iii or you can use your own equipment if it is better)
- Have a good eye for positioning and capturing spontaneous events
I’m based in Orange County and usually film in Orange County or Los Angeles. You will need the ability to travel to either a designated meeting place to carpool (optional) or meet onsite at the filming location.
I use the following equipment that you’ll need to be able to operate:
- Sony a7iii
- DJI RS3 Gimbal
- 2 GoPro 12s with creator kit
- iPhone 14P ProMax
- DJI Osmo Mobile6 Phone Gimbal
- DJI Mini 2 Drone
It’s a bonus if you have better equipment that you’re willing to bring and use, but this is not required. I will provide all memory cards.
This is an independent contractor position. Pay will depend on your experience and will vary based on the complexity of the shoot, ranging from $150 - $300 per shoot.
