Job Summary

The Associate Director, Data Integrity is responsible for managing alumni data in Chicago Booth and University systems, working closely with key partners throughout Chicago Booth and the University of Chicago to ensure timely entry and accuracy of all essential constituent data. They serve on cross-University working groups and task forces related to data integrity and technology projects. In coordination with the Office of Advancement Analytics team, this person is responsible for managing data projects that align with key objectives. The Associate Director manages the Booth Advancement Data Integrity team, which consists of fundraising systems specialists who are responsible for data entry and auditing, and addressing the requests for alumni data updates from other Chicago Booth departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains a wide variety of data points related to alumni and donors within Phoenix, the Salesforce CRM used by Chicago Booth’s Office of Advancement.
- Develops standards and business rules for managing new data elements that enable future extraction and analysis opportunities.
- Serves as the data integrity lead for Chicago Booth’s Constituent Facing Platform.
- Works with Analytics to create applicable audit reports and develop and execute data maintenance strategies.
- Fields requests from colleagues and alumni regarding the creation of new or modification of existing data.
- Serves as Booth Advancement’s representative in working groups or projects related to data management or governance within Alumni Relations and Development. This includes collaboration with Chicago Booth teams, University staff, and outside vendors.
- Serves as the department lead for data acquisition projects, identifying new and improved methods for increasing the volume of data updates while maintaining accuracy.
- Confidently utilizes tools for mass data management projects to ensure swift and accurate updates.
- Continually identifies opportunities for improving data entry, coding guidelines, auditing procedures, and data quality.
- Maintains documentation on data structure and business processes in coordination with other data maintenance teams.
- Supervises, manages, and mentors members of the Data Integrity team, strategically identifying daily tasks, projects, and professional development in collaboration with the Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence.
- Supervises and manages the tasks and projects of temporary data assistants as needed.
- Has a deep understanding of prospect research, prospect management, strategic planning and market research on donors prospects.
- Provides guidance to research analysts, train staff members on fundraising, report writing, and research.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

**Education**:
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
- Work Experience:
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

- Master’s degree.

**Experience**:

- A minimum five years of data entry/maintenance or research-related experience in an academic or corporate setting.
- A minimum two years of management experience with the ability to motivate, lead, set objectives for and manage the performance of a team.
