Position Summary:
Are you driven by data and processes? This position requires an extremely high level of detail to help manage all real-time operations that facilitate the maximization of resources (human and automated) to achieve productivity, schedule adherence, and economic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Constant monitoring of all systems and data to ensure accuracy of all customer information
- Schedule and dispatch drivers with the equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
- Utilize logistics platforms (such as Blue Jay, Coyote Logistics, and Uber Freight) to schedule loads.
- Participate in a daily dispatch meeting to ensure the dispatch team is updated.
- Closeout loads to assigned customers and tenders daily
- Utilize internal software to ensure all information matches Hagen Johnson Trucking’s working schedule.
- Serve as a point-of-contact for drivers and customers.
- Coordinate with internal and external tank wash facilities to ensure timely equipment readiness before planned loads.
- Monitor driver hours to ensure accurate and successful dispatch
- Organize paperwork daily to be given to the Office Manager
- Serve as a member of the “on-call” point of contact team outside of regular business hours (after business hours and weekends)
- Refer all situations that require escalation to the lead dispatcher. and provide input as to how to resolve the problem most effectively
- Assist or participate in other tasks or special projects, as time permits, if directed by the Executive team
- Utilize data analysis tools to monitor and analyze dispatch and delivery metrics, such as service time, delivery time, and route efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Extremely proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Extensive knowledge of computer systems, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
