**What would a typical day look like?**

As the Installation Manager at our company, you’ll spend your time overseeing our technicians who work in homes and businesses to install and integrate the latest in A/V and other automation technology.

Here’s how a typical week might look:

- On Monday, you might find yourself training a new employee on how to pull wire at a residential home under construction;
- On Tuesday, you may be programming a Crestron system for a client’s home;
- On Wednesdays, we all fly to Vegas together and hit the casinos. (just kidding; we just wanted to make sure you’re still paying attention)
- You may end your week on Friday doing a few onsite visits to provide advanced troubleshooting for existing client systems that couldn’t be resolved remotely.

At a more granular level, your days will consist of the following:

- Managing the installation of audio/visual, basic networking, and automation equipment in residential, commercial, and retail locations
- Designing and developing engineering schematics
- Advanced troubleshooting of audio, visual, and automation equipment.

You’ll be Jimmy’s right-hand person. Jimmy’s primary focus is on sales and other aspects of the business, so he’ll rely on you to ensure that our technicians are properly trained, following all of our guidelines, to ultimately ensure that our clients are satisfied. When you’re not training and mentoring our technical team, you’ll be working on programming and advanced troubleshooting, while ensuring that our technicians get exposure to these items, too

**What should you bring to the table?**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in low-voltage, AV & custom integration.
- Strong knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and networks.
- Expertise in Lutron (HomeWorks), Crestron, and Savant.
- Strong understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems at the system and component level
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electronic schematics, and user manuals
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, system design and principles behind wiring
- Strong people-management skills
