**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
As a Professional Conduct Investigator Supervisor, you will oversee and direct Professional Conduct Investigators as they investigate allegations of violations of standards of conduct, laws, rules, and regulations. You will be responsible for distributing and monitoring work assignments to assure effective utilization of staff, providing supervisory guidance to investigators in the development and execution of investigative plans, and evaluating employees’ reports, conduct, and related documents to ensure work is performed in compliance with operational policies and procedures. This position also involves administrative supervisory duties including training staff, interviewing and recommending prospective employees, initiating or recommending appropriate corrective action for employee misconduct, and approving or disapproving travel expense vouchers, leave, and overtime requests.

Your interpretation and thorough knowledge of rules, regulations, rights, obligations, and procedures is imperative to uphold the principles and methods of investigation, interviewing practices and techniques, and principles of evidence you will use and lead in this position. You will also have the opportunity to testify at hearings, communicate with internal offices and the general public, and coordinate with other law enforcement agencies statewide.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as a Professional Conduct Investigator 2; **or**:

- Eight years of investigative experience involving the development and presentation of evidence regarding violations or alleged violations of rules and regulations, which includes two years of supervisory experience; **or**:

- Four years of investigative experience involving the development and presentation of evidence regarding violations or alleged violations of rules and regulations, which includes two years of supervisory experience and a bachelor’s degree; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes four years of investigative experience involving the development and presentation of evidence regarding violations or alleged violations of rules and regulations, which includes two years of supervisory experience.

**Other Requirements**:

- This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.
