Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. As an Associate, you will be responsible for inspecting, and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments. This is a hands on role keeping the yard running smoothly in our Tower City, PA location. Achieve daily operations of the yard in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Maintain safety expectations, quality standards, accuracy, and productivity to achieve company goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Offload and confirm all incoming deliveries (internal & external)
- Work with the Purchasing Manager & Logistics Manager when a discrepancy is noticed on ingoing/outgoing loads
- Confirm amounts & quantities of incoming material returns
- Load outside carriers with outgoing orders
- Maintain safe work environment. Identify areas for improvement and participate in safety goals. Exhibit safe forklift driving skills.
- Maintain an organized yard, keeping all products put away in their proper location.
- Maintain professionalism at all times

Position Requirements:
This is a safety-sensitive position and a drug screen will be required prior to employment.
- Operate a forklift. Load and unload a flatbed truck.
- Clearly communicate with logistics and production departments.
- Be responsible for company property and verification of material.
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Effectively problem solve and think critically.
- Work alongside employees to gain perspective, trust, and experience.
- Willing to assume a variety of responsibilities.
- Able to take direction and follow through.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with contruction/masonry or production environment helpful but not required

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
